Mr. Mony Hong is an experienced English-speaking tour guide from Mondulkiri, Cambodia. On one special journey, he guided world-famous chef Gordon Ramsay and his camera crew from England to a remote Pounong ethnic community village deep in the Mondulkiri highlands.
The team traveled far from the city and spent the night in the village to experience local life. With Mr. Mony Hong’s guidance and the permission of the community, they were able to film a traditional Pounong wedding ceremony. It was a rare and meaningful cultural exchange, showing the beauty, traditions, and hospitality of the Pounong people.
Thanks to Mr. Mony Hong’s local knowledge, trust with the community, and respect for tradition, this unforgettable experience was made possible.
